GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a national entrance test conducted by the GATE Committee every year in eight zones across India. Applicants may use the GATE CSE score or rank for admission to postgraduate courses such as M.Tech, MS, PhD at various IIT and IISc institutes. Candidates may also use the GATE score to create attractive jobs in PSUs.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology (4 years after 10+2 or 3 years after B.Sc./ Diploma in Engineering/ Technology)

B. Arch.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

B.Sc. (Research)/B.Sc.

Bachelor’s degree in Science

M. Sc./M.A./MCA or equivalent

Master’s degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or Equivalent Degree

Integrated M.E/M.Tech (Post-B.Sc.)

Post-B.Sc. Integrated Master’s degree programs in Engineering / Technology (Four-year program)

Integrated M.E./M.Tech or Dual Degree (after Diploma or 10+2)

Integrated Master’s degree program or Dual Degree program in Engineering / Technology (Five-year program)

Integrated M.Sc/Integrated B.Sc.-M.Sc.

Integrated M.Sc. or Five years integrated B. Sc./M.Sc. program

Professional Society Examination (equivalent to B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch.)

GATE CSE Syllabus

It is very crucial to understand the entire syllabus of Computer Science in order to crack the GATE CSE exam. You can download GATE exam syllabus PDF branch wise along with the weightage.

The GATE exam will be conducted in an online mode held for 23 papers where the candidate has to opt only for 1 paper which will carry a total of 100 marks with a total exam duration of 3 hours.

Cut Off

GATE Cut off marks are the minimum marks a candidate needs to qualify for the GATE Exam. Applicants may check the official cut-off for GATE 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014.

GATE CSE 2021 Admit Card

Before online GATE 2021 exam, candidates can download GATE admit card from the official website. The admit card link will most likely be activated by 3 January 2021.

GATE 2021 Result

The result of GATE CSE 2021 will be published on the GOAPS website after the completion of the exam. Please note that the GATE score remains valid for three years from the date of publication of the GATE result.
