New Changes in GATE 2022 Exam
According to a meeting held by the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE on Saturday, May 22nd, major changes to the GATE 2022 Exam Papers were made.
1.Two new papers, Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture as one of the papers, and Geomatics Engineering have been introduced in GATE 2022.
2.Thus, from 2022 onwards, GATE will have 29 papers instead of 27 papers.
3.Earlier, two new papers, Environmental Science & Engineering and Humanities and Social Science were introduced by IIT Bombay for GATE 2021 Exam, making a total of 27 papers.
4.In view of the COVID 19 pandemic, there will be an increase in the number of exam centres. Place such as Shirdi, Latur, Akola, and Dhule will be there for the candidates to elect as exam centres for GATE 2022 exam.
GATE ECE Eligibility Criteria 2022
The eligibility criteria for GATE ECE 2021 have been relaxed, according to the GATE 2021 notification. As a result, you can expect the GATE ECE Eligibility criteria for the GATE 2022 exam to be the same. The following are the GATE 2022 eligibility criteria.
1. An applicant studying in the 3rd or higher years of any UG degree is eligible to appear for GATE-2022 examination.
2. Also, Candidates who have completed any degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts are eligible to apply.

GATE ECE Notification 2022
IIT Kharagpur will release the GATE ECE 2022 Notification. It is expected that you will be able to download the GATE ECE exam notification starting in July 2021. The GATE ECE online registration date, on the other hand, will be announced in the second or third week of September 2021.
Every year, the GATE exam is held for engineering students in their third or final year to gain admission to NITs, IITs, or other premier institutions to pursue M.Tech courses, or to get a job in a PSU. There is no upper age limit for taking the GATE exam. However, one must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the notification.
